Interrogation of Ex-officials in corruption Cases

The Iraqi Council of Ministers issued instructions to provincial councils to take back diplomatic and employment passports from chairpersons and members of the previous provincial councils. The instruction also ordered preventing those members from leaving the country until the investigations of financial and administrative corruption are completed. Government authorities entrusted with fighting corruption had obtained evidence and documents that prove the involvement of some of those ex-officials in corruption cases.
