Second Specialized Training "Corruption Risk Management in the Health Sector" in Tunisia

In collaboration with both the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Tunisia and the General Directorate for Governance and Corruption Prevention in the Presidency of the Government, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is organizing the second specialized training session on “Managing Corruption Risks in the Health sector, on 27 and 28 October 2023. This falls within the framework of its regional project for "Anti-Corruption and Integrity in Arab Countries" implemented with support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The training aims to strengthen the capacities of the sectoral task team established by the Minister of Health. This team was previously trained on applying the sectoral corruption risk management methodology in an initial training session between 17-19 January 2023.
The second training provides an opportunity for a joint review of the interim results achieved in assessing corruption risks in the fields of private supplementary activities and medical procurement. The training also includes a technical sessions and practical exercises aimed at enhancing knowledge of the sectoral task team. It also involves providing necessary technical advice to design an appropriate action plan to mitigate the assessed corruption risks. The training session concludes with a dedicated session to agree on the next steps and the required support for the forthcoming phase.
