Field Visit of Tunisia's Task Force on Corruption Risk Management in the Water Sector
3/16/2023 - 3/16/2023
Organized by: UNDP-ACIAC in coordination with UNDP Tunisia
Tunisia's task force on corruption risk management in the water sector has taken their work to the field by conducting site visits to irrigation facilities and collecting data that will help them identify areas of improvement in water access and governance. The team’s efforts will build synergies between governance reforms, water access, and responsible use of natural resources.
The data collected from the site visits will be used to develop a comprehensive plan for managing corruption risks in the sector. This will include measures such as improving transparency, accountability, and public participation in decision-making processes related to water management. By involving all stakeholders in the process, the task force aims to create a system that is fair, equitable, and effective. The task force's work is an important example of how effective governance can lead to sustainable development.
