Fourth Regional Meeting "Towards a Regional Alliance of Women Anti-Corruption and Integrity Leaders"

Organized by: UNDP-ACIAC in partnership with Global Affairs Canada

The UNDP Regional Hub for the Arab States organized the Fourth regional meeting “Towards a regional alliance of women anti-corruption and integrity leaders” in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada. The meeting was held in Beirut, Lebanon on 24 and 25 January 2023, and was attended by leaders in government, civil society, academia, and the business community as well as experts, representatives of concerned regional international organizations, and senior public officials responsible for developing and implementing sectoral anti-corruption policies and programs. The meeting enabled participants to engage in exploring the gender perspectives in sectoral anti-corruption policies and programmes through the analysis of the different dynamics of how corruption impact gender in specific sectors that are particularly vulnerable to corruption and key for sustainable development and economic growth.
