National Training:"Towards reducing risks of corruption in customs in Libya"

Organized by: Libyan Transparency Association and the Arab Anti-Corruption and Integrity Network (ACINET) in cooperation with UNDP-ACIAC and the support of Siemens Integrity Initiative

The training engaged more than 18 participants and raised their awareness of international anti-corruption instruments and their relevance for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in general and enhancing the effectiveness of the customs sector in particular. They were introduced to the concept of corruption risk management and its applicability in the customs sector, and enabled to outline recommendations for follow up action in Libya in the framework of the project and beyond.
