Seminar: Acting against Corruption for SMEs in Cairo

Organized by: UNDP-ACIAC in collaboration with the Egyptian Junior Business Association

In collaboration with the Egyptian Junior Business Association, UNDP-ACIAC organized a seminar on 23-24 June 2014 in Cairo that aimed to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Egypt in playing a more active role against corruption. The materials for this seminar were developed through a consultative process that included independent experts and representatives of the business community in the Arab region, with the support of UNDP-ACIAC and in partnership with the Siemens Integrity Initiative. Participants are expected to include around 10 owners and senior executives of leading SMEs in Cairo. A second similar seminar was also organized in Alexandria on 25-26 June to target other regions of the country.
