A training entitled "Prevention Mechanisms and Essential Skills Required for their Enhancement within the Jordanian Anti-Corruption Strategy's context" was held in Amman on June 10, 2014. This training was organized in partnership between UNDP's Regional Project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries (ACIAC) and the Jordanian Anti-Corruption Commission (JACC) and in collaboration with the Arab Anti-Corruption and Integrity Network (ACINET). The training was attended by JACC’s relevant staff and by representatives of other authorities concerned with implementing corruption prevention elements in the Jordanian Anti-corruption Strategy 2013-2017. The training aimed at deepening participants’ knowledge of essential anti-corruption preventive mechanisms and developing their relevant skills in specific areas. In particular, it focused on skills related to assessing corruption risks and managing them. This was achieved within the Jordanian's context and based on most prominent international standards, good practices and lessons learnt from comparative experiences, in the region and the world.
