Seminar on the Role of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Corruption Law Enforcement

The Central Authority for Corruption Prevention (ICPC) organized a seminar on the role of anti-corruption agencies in corruption law enforcement in cooperation with UNDP’s Regional Project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries (UNDP-ACIAC) on Wednesday 19 June 2013 in Rabat, Morocco. This seminar aimed to raise awareness among stakeholders on the roles anti-corruption agencies can play in corruption law enforcement and shared good practices and lessons learned from comparative international experiences with a view to enabling the ICPC to prepare itself at best to implement its new functions, in light of the constitutional reform which has expanded the mandate of the Authority from an agency with a consultative and preventive role to a multifunctional agency. Participants to this seminar included representatives of related official institutions, parliamentarians and representatives of civil society.
