Gulf Countries Roundtable on Strengthening Integrity in the Private Sector

UNDP’s Regional Project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries (UNDP-ACIAC) and Transparency Kuwait Society organized a roundtable on “Strengthening Integrity in the Private Sector in the Gulf Countries” on 17 December 2012 in Kuwait City (State of Kuwait), in cooperation with the MENA-OECD investment Programme and SIEMENS. The roundtable focused on the concepts and practices related to transparency in the private sector within the broader efforts aiming to strengthen integrity and prevent corruption in that sector. It also served as a forum for an inclusive dialogue between stakeholders in the Gulf Countries including government, businesses and civil society organizations to identify recommendations and entry points to further advance related efforts in their countries.
