National Roundtable on Enhancing Integrity and Transparency in the Private Sector in Djibouti

The State General Inspectorate organized a national roundtable on strengthening integrity and transparency in the private sector in Djibouti (Republic of Djibouti) with the support of UNDP-ACIAC on 11 December 2012. The roundtable was held under the auspices of the Minister of Economy and Finance and gathered representatives of the government, private sector and civil society to discuss existing measures to reinforce the integrity and transparency of the private sector and identify possible entry points to advance related efforts in the country. This roundtable is part of a series of similar roundtables across the region and it helped inform the second regional workshop on “Building Capacities and Promoting Collective Action to Strengthen Private Sector Integrity” which was held on 18-19 December 2012.
