First Regional Conference on Supporting UNCAC Implementation in Arab Countries

Organized by: UNDP-POGAR, UNODC, OECD, Jordanian Government

The conference tackles the UNCAC implementation efforts in the Arab region. It discusses the global anti-corruption experiences and the possibilities of establishing an effective asset recovery system. It also discusses the role of parliamentarians, the civil society and the private sector in the UNCAC implementation. The sessions conclude with a discussion on the establishment of a network of Arab governmental bodies and institutions to support UNCAC implementation.
